Hey everybody, here's your stardust 3/4 day report. We had some light winds in the forecast for today so we ran out to Santa Rosa island in search of the lingcod bite we have been seeing lately. It's safe to say they are still biting. We fished the deeper water right off the bat but only had a few fish out there. Decided to run in shallow and try our luck and that payed off.

We found most spots willing to give us a decent amount of lingcod and some giant coppers as well. We had a fairly mixed size of lingcod but there were some that were quite impressive. The best bait today was the live bait on the dropper loop. Though I did see some guys throwing red colored artificial baits and catching some fish.

We finished up our limits of lingcod and gave a couple stones a shot for rockfish but found scratchy fishing. We called it a day as the wind was filling in. Our group of guys on the charter today had a blast and did a great job pulling up lingcod.

For our 23 anglers today we caught 58 rockfish and 46 lingcod. The stardust is full for its 3/4 day trip tomorrow but book spots now for 1/2 day Fishing Monday- Friday on our website or call the Sea landing at 805-963-3564.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (805) 963-3564 to get in on the action
