Awesome group of folks out today on a new charter put together by Daryl Yao and friends in celebration of his daughter Lindsey's birthday. With 28 total anglers on board we headed up the coast for the day. 

Throughout the day we experienced steady fishing on nice reds and some large coppers along with an assortment of other rockfish making into the bags.  Our group today were mostly first timers and most seemed content to catch a few fish and the spent most of the rest of the day enjoying a tasty cheeseburger and talking amongst each other.  Beautiful weather and very relaxed group of anglers made for a very pleasant day for us.  The last half of our day was considerably slower with only 8-10 die hard anglers sticking at the rail.

We ended the day with 203 rockfish made up of 158 Reds, 23 coppers and 22 assorted rockfish.  Watching some of the younger anglers wind up there first fish was a blast.  

The Stardust is privately chartered tomorrow and full for Sunday's 3/4 Day  however is scheduled to go 1/2 Day fishing Monday- Wednesday needing a few more reservations at this time.  The Next trip with availability on the Coral Sea is Monday-Wednesday 3/4 day trips.  Please call Sea landing at 805 963-3564 for reservations or visit our website to book online.
