Heading in from Santa Rosa island. We had calm seas all day again.

This morning we started out in deep water looking at a zone I have not fished all year. We ended up catching some nice chucks and reds and a few lingcod there, but the numbers were not adding up fast enough.
We worked our way into more shallow water which was a good idea. We fished a ton of spots and had quick drifts.  We caught a lot of reds as well as chucks and nice rockfish.  The fish did not come easy and we fished late but ended up with a good score for the day. The jigs worked ok today but the squid worked the best.

Our 22 anglers caught 107 reds, 52 chucks, 61 rockfish, 7 lingcod.

The Stardust has a light load 3/4 day leaving at 7am tomorrow for sure going and a 1/2 day on Wednesday leaving at 9am both with lots of room. The coral sea has a 3/4 day trip on Wednesday leaving at 7 a for sure go.  To make a reservation you can book online or call the Sea landing (805)963-3564
