Our second week of the new season has been quite productive.  Many fish have been caught on Gulp Garlic Nightcrawlers.  One of our fishermen caught his limit in ONE hour on the South Shore of the lake.  The inlet area is still a hot spot, as well as, the Old Hanging Tree area. The biggest catches were caught by Dennis Turner with a 6.50 lbs.  and Ray Pyles   with a 5.14 lbs. lunkers. WOW!

Resort News
We are so excited to announce that 10 of our new 20 ft. deluxe pontoon boats will be delivered on Wed. this week. You will definitely want to go out on one of these.  They all are fully loaded, including BBQ’s!

The horses will be arriving at the end of the week.  We will give them a few days to get acclimated and Randy will start the trail rides.   There will be 2 rides a day. Each ride is 2 hours and goes along the lake side trail.  You get off at a beautiful meadow at the back of the lake and you get a snack, some water and take pictures of your riding adventure.  The cost is $75 per person and you can sign up in the store or call for reservations.

We have added a new large selection of fine wines in the store.  Come on in and check them out.

The campground is open and ready for business.

Mother’s Day Brunch is on Sunday, May 12th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the restaurant.  It includes a 3 course meal and is a perfect treat for mom on her special day. Reservations are highly recommended.

Weather
Our weather has been typical for spring in the Eastern Sierra.  This coming week the temps will range from the high 50’s to lows in the mid 30’s. There are possible rain showers toward the end of the week.  It might be a good idea to bring a rain jacket…just in case.

Derby Details
Round-Up at the Lake Derby is going strong.  Quite a few fishermen have already caught their 14” fish and are in the drawing for resort prizes worth up to $6000.  There is still plenty of time to enter.  The entry fee of $15 includes a 2019 pin and a 14” ruler.  The store staff look forward to signing you up.  Round-Up Derby t-shirts are for sale in the store and online.  We have a limited number of them, so grab one before we run out!
